Hazardous waste

 

Asbestos, fridges, freezers, batteries and tyres cannot be placed in the skip. If you are disposing of potentially hazardous materials please call us for advice.

Do you need a permit?

 

 

If you require your skip to go on the public highway, then you will need a skip permit from your local authority.

At Aaron skip hire we arrange this for you along with the hire of lights.

 

Each local authority has different rules, time limits and prices.

 

If your local authority is not listed then please call our office for further advice. 

 

 

Hounslow:- Requires 24 hours notice, the permit will last for 2 weeks and costs £45, controlled parking zone is extra depending on location.

 

 

Surrey County Council:- Requires 48 hours notice. Permits cost £70 for 28 days

 

 

Richmond:- Permits are £45 for 3 consecutive weeks, however if the skip is to be placed in a Controlled Parking Zone there will be an extra admin charge of £90 and a daily
charge of between £8 - £30 depending on the zone. At least 7 working days are required to apply for the permit. Aaron Skip Hire advise customers in this area to call 01932 560313 at least 10 before with the full address and postcode of where the skip is to be placed to ensure everything runs smoothly.
